Pengambilan Timbal (II) dengan Sistem Fe(s)│Pb(NO3)2(aq)│KCl(aq)││H2O(l)│C(s)
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian pengambilan timbal(II) dengan metode elektrokoagulasi. Penelitian ini fokus terhadap upaya pengurangan konsentrasi timbal(II) dengan sistem Fe(s)│Pb(NO3)2(aq)│KCl(aq)║H2O (l)│C(s). Penelitian elektrokoagulasi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan persentase kadar ion Pb(II) yang terambil dengan elektroda besi dan karbon. Pelaksanaan metode elektrokoagulasi terjadi tegangan optimum 4V, pH 11, waktu elektrkoagulasi 60 menit, rapat arus 50 µA/cm2 dan penambahan garam elektrolit KCl 0,5 M. Analisis data digunakan untuk menghitung persentase pengambilan konsnetrasi Pb(II) . Hasil analisis SSA menunjukkan bahwa persentase pengambilan Pb(II) sebanyak 92,1%. Karakterisasi dengan instrumen FTIR dan SEM-EDX juga dilakukan, fungsinya untuk membuktikan bahwa logam Pb mampu terambil dengan metode elektrokoagulasi. Hasil karakterisasi FTIR terdapat gugus fungsi Pb-O, Fe-O, O-H, diperkuat dengan hasil karakterisasi EDX terdapat kandungan unsur timbal, besi, kalium, klorida, oksigen dan silika. Hasil karakterisasi SEM menunjukkan bahwa bentuk morfologi permukaan flok hasil elektrokoagulasi timbal relatif homogen.

ABSTRACT
Research on lead(II) removal with electrocoagulation method has been done. The study was focusing in the effort of decressing lead (II) level in the system Fe(s)│Pb(NO3)2 (aq)│KC (aq)║H2O(l)│C(s). The approach aims to determine the percentage of Pb (II) ions taken with iron and carbon electrodes. The electrocoagulation method obtained an optimal voltage of 4V, pH 11, an electrocoagulation time of 60 minutes, a current density of 50 μA / cm 2 and the addition of 0.5M KCl electrolyte salt. Analysis datas is used to calculate the percentage of the removal process Pb(II). The results of the SSA analysis showed that the percentage of Pb (II) removed was 92.1%. Characterization using FTIR and SEM-EDX instruments was also performed. Its function was to prove that Pb metal could be removed by electrocoagulation. The results of the FTIR characterization contained functional groups Pb-O, Fe-O, O-H, enhanced by the results of the EDX characterization with lead, iron, potassium, chlorides, oxygen and silica. The SEM characterization results showed that floc morphology form relatively homogeneous surface.
