Sintesis Silica-Rich Sodalite Dengan Variasi Suhu Hidrotermal Dan Ultrasound

ABSTRACT
The synthesis of silica-rich sodalite has been carried out with variations in hydrothermal and ultrasound temperatures. This research was conducted to determine the effect of variations in hydrothermal and ultrasound temperature on the characteristics of sodalite zeolite synthesis. The method used was hydrothermal and ultrasound methods with variations in temperature of 100°C, 150°C, and 200°C for 24 hours. Characterization of synthesis products was carried out using FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared) and XRD (X-ray Diffraction). The results obtained showed that silica-rich sodalite was formed in the hydrothermal and ultrasound methods which were characterized by peak peaks of 14.16°, 24.66°, 31.99°, 35.13°, 43.39° and other mixtures, namely SAPO-56 on the ultrasound method which is characterized by peaks appearing 19.05°, 27°, and 43.39°. The best crystallinity of zeolite silica-rich sodalite was obtained at 200°C for the hydrothermal method and at a temperature of 150°C for the ultrasound method.
