Analisis Numerik Polarisasi Elektrik pada Thin Film Ferroelektrik
INTISARI

ABSTRACT
Ferroelectric is a dielectric material that has polarization even though the external field is removed. This polarization is called spontaneous polarization. Polarization is the process of shifting positive and negative charges from equilibrium points. This study explains the relationship between the effect of thickness of thin film, number of lattices, extrapolation length, and constants on the polarization of each lattice and the average polarization in the ferroelectric thin film material. Theoretically, the theory of polarization refers to the Landau theory. In thin film material there are two types of polarization that occur, namely the polarization in the middle area lattice is derived through the Landau-Ginzburg equation and the polarization of the surface area lattice is derived through the Landau-Devonshire theory. Polarization values in bulk are influenced by constants and polarization values on the surface are influenced by extrapolation length. The ferroelectric material used in this study is BaTiO3 thin film which has the advantage of high dielectric constant and temperature Curie which is close to room temperature compared to other ferroelectric materials. This research was carried out numerically with the Newton-Raphson method.
