Potensi Larutan Kombinasi Mikromineral (Cu,Fe,Zn,Co), Vitamin (A,B1,B12,C) dan sari Buah Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L.) Dalam Meningkatkan Status Fisiologis Puyuh Jepang (Coturnix Coturnix japonica L.)

Fe, Zn, Co), Vitamin (A, B1, B12, C) dan Sari Buah Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia
L.) dalam Meningkatkan Status Fisiologi Puyuh Jepang (Coturnix coturnix
japonica L.). Dibawah bimbingan Tyas Rini Saraswati dan Sri Isdadiyanto.
Puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica L.) merupakan unggas yang sangat popular di
masyarakat karena produk yang dihasilkan cukup banyak, seperti daging dan
telurnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi larutan kombinasi
mikromineral (Cu, Fe, Zn, Co), vitamin (A, B1, B12, C) dan sari buah mengkudu
dalam meningkatkan status fisiologis puyuh jepang. Perlakuan dimulai pada saat
puyuh jepang berumur 4 sampai 16 minggu. Percobaan dalam penelitian ini
merupakan percobaan nonfaktorial menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL)
dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Data yang dihasilkan dianalisis menggunakan
Analysis of Varian (ANOVA), dan apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata maka akan
diuji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji Duncan pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil
analisis data menunjukkan perbedaan nyata pada jumlah eritrosit, kadar Hb,
SGPT, SGOT, glukosa darah, profil lipid (LDL, HDL, trigliserida, kolesterol
total) daging, proksimat (protein, air, abu, karbohidrat) daging, tetapi tidak
berbeda nyata pada derajat keasaman (pH) darah dan kadar lemak daging.
Pemberian kombinasi mikromineral, vitamin dan sari mengkudu mampu
meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit dan kadar Hb, menjaga pH netral, menurunkan
kadar SGPT, SGOT dan glukosa darah. Pemberian kombinasi mikromineral,
vitamin dan sari mengkudu berpotensi menurunkan kadar LDL, trigliserida,
kolesterol total dan meningkatkan kadar HDL di dalam daging serta berpotensi
meningkatkan kadar protein di dalam daging. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa
pemberian kombinasi mikromineral, vitamin dan sari buah mengkudu memiliki
potensi dalam meningkatkan status fisiologis sebagai suplemen tambahan pada
manajemen air minum pemeliharaan puyuh jepang.

Micromineral (Cu, Fe, Zn, Co), Vitamin (A, B1, B12, C) and Morinda Juice
(Morinda citrifolia L.) in Improving the Physiological Status of Quail (Coturnix
coturnix japonica L.). Under the supervision of Tyas Rini Saraswati and Sri
Isdadiyanto.
Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica L.) was a very popular bird in public because of
the produced result was quite a lot as meat and eggs. This research was to find out
the potency of giving combination of micromineral (Cu, Fe, Zn, Co), vitamin (A,
B1, B12, C) and morinda juice (Morinda citrifolia L.) in improving the
physiological status of quail. The treatment was begun when the quail was in age
of 4 to 16 weeks. The experiment in this research was nonfactorial
experimentation with complete random plan (RAL) with 4 treatments and 5
replications. The obtained data was analyzed by using the analysis of varian
(ANOVA) and if there was a real difference then it will be done an advanced
testing by using the Duncan test in confidence level 95%. The analysis result
showed significant difference on total erythrocyte, hemoglobin level, SGPT,
SGOT, blood glucose level, lipid profile (LDL, HDL, triglycerides, total
cholesterol) in the meat, proximate (protein, water, ash, carbohydrate) in the meat,
but has no significant difference on the degree of acidity (pH) of the blood and the
fat content of meat. The giving combination of micromineral (Cu, Fe, Zn, Co),
vitamin (A, B1, B12, C) and morinda juice had ability to increase total erythrocyte
and hemoglobin level, maintain a neutral pH, reduce levels of SGPT, SGOT and
blood glucose. The giving combination of micromineral (Cu, Fe, Zn, Co), vitamin
(A, B1, B12, C) and morinda juice had potency to reduce levels of LDL,
triglycerides, total cholesterol and increased levels of HDL in the meat as well as
potency increasing the protein content in the meat. In conclusion that giving
combination of micromineral (Cu, Fe, Zn, Co), vitamin (A, B1, B12, C) and
morinda juice had the potency in improving the physiological status as a
supplement in the drinking water management of quail.
