Nyamuk Aedes aegypti adalah nyamuk yang membawa virus dengue penyebab
penyakit demam berdarah. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini dibahas model matematika
populasi nyamuk Aides aegypti dipengaruhi insektisida dan ovitraps. Model ini
terdiri dari 3 kelas yaitu nyamuk belum dewasa, nyamuk dewasa non-resistan, dan
nyamuk dewasa resistan. Model ini didasarkan pada persamaan diferensial biasa
non-linier. Dari analisa titik kesetimbangan diperoleh bahwa kestabilan dititik
bebas nyamuk tidak stabil sedangkan kestabilan endemik nyamuk stabil.
Penambahan ovitraps dan insektisida dalam mengurangi populasi nyamuk Aides
aegypti berpengaruh seperti terlihat dalam hasil simulasi numerik.

POPULATION AFFECTED INSECTICIDE AND OVITRAPS

Aedes aegypti mosquito is a mosquito that carries the dengue virus that causes
dengue fever. In this Final Project a mathematical model of Aides aegypti mosquito
population is influenced by insecticides and ovitraps. This model consists of 3
classes: immature mosquitoes, non-resistant adult mosquitoes, and adult resistant
mosquitoes. This model is based on ordinary non-linear differential equations.
From the analysis of the equilibrium point, it is found that the stability at the
mosquito-free point is not stable while the endemic stability of the mosquito is
stable. The addition of ovitraps and insecticides in reducing the Aides aegypti
mosquito population was influential as seen in the results of numerical simulations.
