Kajian Kinetika Adsorpsi Dan Desorpsi Magnetit Silika Sulfonat Terhadap Ion Logam Pb (II)
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang adsorpsi dan desorpsi ion logam Pb(II) oleh magnetit silika sulfonat hasil sintesis dengan kandungan Na-silikat yang berbeda-beda yaitu 5%,10%,15%, 20% dan 25%. Aspek adsorpsi yang dipelajari meliputi kinetika dan isoterm adsorpsi ion logam Pb (II) serta desorpsi ion logam Pb (II) pada magnetit silika sulfonat. Proses adsorpsi dilakukan dengan metode batch. Studi kinetika adsorpsi dilakukan dengan menginteraksikan logam Pb (II) dengan magnetit slilika sulfonat pada berbagai variasi waktu, untuk mempelajari isoterm adsorpsi dilakukan dengan menginteraksikan logam Pb (II) pada berbagai variasi konsentrasi dengan magnetit silika sulfonat, sedangkan proses desorpsi dilakukan dengan menginteraksikan ion logam Pb (II) yang telah diadsorpsi dengan agen pendesorpsi EDTA pada berbagai variasi waktu.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi ion logam paling banyak tejadi pada magnetit silika sulfonat 20% sebanyak 92,574% pada variasi waktu kontak 60 menit. Kajian kinetika adsorpsi menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi ion logam menggunakan adsorben magnetit silika sulfonat mengikuti model kinetika Ho, pseudo orde 2. Kajian isoterm menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi ion logam Pb(II) oleh magnetit sililka sulfonat 5%,10%, 20% dan 25% cenderung mengikuti isoterm Freundlich, sedangkan pada magnetit silika sulfonat 15% cenderung mengikuti isoterm Langmuir. Pada proses desorpsi menggunakan agen pendesorpsi EDTA, desorpsi paling banyak terjadi pada magnetit silika sulfonat 5% dengan persen terdesorpsi sebesar 13,123% pada variasi waktu 24 jam.

ABSTRACT
A research about adsorption and desorption of Pb (II) metal ions by synthesized silica sulfonate magnetite with different Na-silicate contents were 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The adsorption aspects studied included the kinetics and isotherms of the adsorption of Pb (II) metal ions and desorption of Pb (II) metal ions on silica sulfonate magnetite. The adsorption process is carried out by the batch method. The adsorption kinetics study was carried out by interacting Pb (II) metal with magnetite sulfonate at various time variations, to study the adsorption isotherm by conducting Pb (II) metal at various concentrations with silica sulfonate magnetite, while the desorption process was carried out by interacting with Pb metal ions. (II) which has been adsorbed with EDTA desorption agents at various time variations.
The results showed that the adsorption of most metal ions occurred in silica sulfonate magnetite 20% as much as 92,574 % at 60 minutes contact time variation. The adsorption kinetics study showed that the adsorption of metal ions using silica sulfonate magnetite adsorbents followed the Ho, pseudo-order 2 kinetics model. The isotherm study shows that the adsorption of Pb (II) metal ions by silica sulfonate magnetite 5%, 10%, 20% and 25% tends to follow the Freundlich isotherm, whereas 15% silica sulfonate magnetite tends to follow the Langmuir isotherm. In the desorption process using an EDTA desorption agent, the most desorption occurs in 5% silica sulfonate magnetite with a percentage of 13,123% in 24 hours.
